Opened on New Years day, 1895, designed by Charles Harrison Townsend.












Whitechapel Art Gallery

Founded in 1901, again designed by Charles Harrison Townsend, who designed the Horniman Museum as well, probably the three most famous examples of Art Nouveau architecture in London.
