The Different Typefaces of London Shop Signs, part 1

Pretoria seems to be the most popular typeface for London shop signs (I'm not counting any generic typefaces, only ones that are interesting, ones that would be on the yellow pages of the Letraset catalogue...was this ranged called Letragraphica?). It is everywhere, especially Indian restaurants.

Another very popular typeface, used for any "French" or "craft" related shop.
